Pain Point:
Acrylic acid is soluble in alcohol and the solvent in it causes discoloration of the LED shield.
Requirement: Improve the transparency of the coating to prevent yellowing, and at the same time need to withstand high temperature.
Test requirements:
High Transparency Test: Observe the product under an ambient light source to ensure that the coating has a high degree of transparency and does not affect light transmission under the LED shield. Transparency should be measured by a spectrum analyzer, with a light transmission rate of not less than 80%.
Rework ease of testing: Soldering and desoldering experiments to simulate the PCBA rework process. The coating should be easy to remove locally and the removal process should not cause damage to the PCBA. After rework, the coating needs to be reapplied and tested to see if its protective properties are the same as the initial application.

Neutral Salt Spray Test: The PCBA is left unpowered and placed vertically in a salt spray tank. The solution concentration is 5%, the ambient temperature is controlled at 35℃, and the continuous salt spray exposure test is conducted for 192 hours. After the completion of the test, check the product appearance, structural process
and electrical performance, there should be no significant difference with the pre-test, can work normally. The deviation of power consumption should be controlled within ≤20%, and the defects of lamp beads, terminals, connectors and wires are not regarded as the judgment standard of this test.
